Every week we have a regular schedule of meetups and volunteering opportunities. Click on each day of the week to find out what’s on.

  • Words for wellbeing
    1.30pm - 3pm
    Cost: £6 / £5 with a neighbour’s card
    Create and learn with Ellie from Word Well.

  • Very Inclusive Play Club
    10am - 11.30am
    A group for children 0-6 with additional support needs and their parents. Bond, have fun and share your experience with others. Learn techniques and strategies to support your child’s development at home. Run by the Very Inclusive Play Club.

    Get gardening
    10.30am - 3.30pm
    We always welcome volunteers to help out with our garden plots. To make sure everyone has the best time, spaces are limited. Lunch is included. If you're interested, please email admin@bridgendfarmhouse.org.uk with your age and what session you’re interested in.

    Very Inclusive Play Club
    12.30pm - 2pm
    A group for children 0-6 with additional support needs and their parents. Bond, have fun and share your experience with others. Learn techniques and strategies to support your child’s development at home. Run by the Very Inclusive Play Club.

    ‘Talk Time’ wellbeing group
    2pm - 3.30pm
    Drop-in space to chat and listen in a relaxed, supportive environment.
    Open to all. Just turn up, or let us know you’re coming at admin@bridgendfarmhouse.org.uk.

  • Walking Group
    10am - 11am
    Meet at the farmhouse. Friendly, short local walks led by trained Health Walk leaders.

    Nature Play (Bothy)
    10am – 12midday
    Nature-based, child-led activities such as crafts, bug hunts and bushcraft. For children 6 and under with their carers. Run by Trees and Seas Outdoor Adventures.

    The Big Wednesday Gardening Session
    11am – 3pm
    Community gardening session. To get involved, contact:

    Arts and Crafts Wednesdays
    2pm – 4pm
    Informal creative session for all experience levels.
    Bring your own project – get tips, inspiration, and guidance in a friendly setting.

    Woodcraft with Oliver
    5.30pm – 8.30pm
    Free woodworking session with an experienced woodcarver.
    Held in Workshop 4. Booking required due to high demand.

    Making for Bridgend Group
    10am – 1pm
    Create items from reused materials to support the farmhouse’s aims of sustainability. Proceeds go to the community.

    Forest Friday

    Outdoor woodland activities for kids 6-12.

    Adults’ Yoga
    2pm – 3pm
    Cost: £4, or £3 with neighbours’ card.
    Build balance, strength, and flexibility.

    Wheely Fun Fridays – Guided Bike Rides
    2pm – 4pm
    Weekly from 4th April to 31st October
    Gentle, social-paced rides from the farmhouse on mostly flat, quiet routes. Destinations vary, and include places such as the Meadows and Portobello beach.
    Borrow a pedal bike for free or hire an e-bike (£5).
    Children welcome if they are capable riders and accompanied by an adult.
