The Community Peace Garden, created through a collaboration of local organisations and volunteers, including many New Scots, opened in August 2024 as a shared space for connection, inclusion, and ongoing community use.

The Well Preserved Ladies are a volunteer group who turn surplus produce into jams and chutneys, fostering community, reducing isolation, and raising funds and awareness for Bridgend Farmhouse through their weekly sessions.
